In the early 1980s KEMTEX® pioneered the on-site hospital curtain cleaning service. This service later evolved into an off-site model with the curtains being taken down and cleaned at their healthcare laundry facility. After decades servicing hospitals the challenges were clear: changing privacy curtains was very slow, risky, and disruptive. Staff members had to climb ladders, figure out what size curtain they needed, search for a proper sized replacement curtain, and the entire process was woefully inefficient.
That’s why the ZipQuick® Hospital Curtain was invented — a proprietary two-part zipper-based curtain system that lets staff replace a privacy curtain in under 60 seconds. No ladders. No tools. No downtime. Just safer, smarter workflows for every facility.
